Care chiefs 'frustrated' with work and red tape

Survey of registered social care managers reveals deep frustrations within the sector.

A new survey of registered social care managers has exposed deep frustrations within the sector, with just 40% of respondents reporting ‘sufficient recognition' from their peers.

Conducted by the National Skills Academy for Social Care (NSA social care), the survey of more than 1,100 registered managers revealed that 25% expressed feelings of isolation, and one-third reported their career in care was ‘uncertain or likely to end'.
