A leading social care expert has hailed health and wellbeing boards as ‘part of the solution' to reforming the NHS and integrating social care services.

Richard Humphries, a senior fellow at the influential King's Fund think-tank, said the boards – which are part of the controversial Health and Social Care Bill – had been welcomed by both councils and healthcare professionals.
