The Government has promised 'urgent reforms' to protect children from sexual exploitation.

The Government has promised ‘urgent reforms' to protect children from sexual exploitation, after a major study revealed a ‘disproportionate number' of victims were in residential care.

Early findings from the two-year Inquiry into Child Exploitation in Gangs and Groups (CSEGG), launched by the children's commissioner in October 2011, were published this week, following concerns over a recent case of co-ordinated abuse in Rochdale.
