Care sector bosses have warned homes could close and residents could die, unless the Government heeds the call to put the social care system on a sustainable footing.

In an unprecedented move, the Association of Directors of Adult Social Services (ADASS), the NHS Confederation, the Care Provider Alliance and the Care and Support Alliance have joined forces to demand the Government protect health and social care funding throughout the lifetime of this Parliament.
