A career of reorganisation

The retiring chief executive of South Oxfordshire and Vale of White Horse DCs, David Buckle, on how reorganisation has been a regular feature in his career.

I first worked in local government 43 years ago as a 16 year old (how many of those do we employ these days?) technical assistant in the planning department at Kent CC. 

This makes me one of the few people still working or just retired who went through the 1974 local government reorganisation.
