Carolyn Wilkins looks set to assume the top job at Oldham Council following the departure of Charlie Parker to Westminster City Council.

Ms Wilkins, who was deputy to Mr Parker, has served as interim chief executive since January and her permanent appointment to the role is subject to approval from a meeting of full council.
