Casey: troubled famililes' intervention model should adapt

Councils engaged with the Government's initiative to transform the lives of troubled families by 2015 should prepare to offer differing levels of intervention, Louise Casey will announce today.

Councils engaged with the Government's initiative to transform the lives of 120,000 troubled families by 2015 should prepare to offer differing levels of intervention, Louise Casey will announce today.

Ms Casey, the head of the troubled families unit, based within the Department for Communities and Local Government (DCLG),is set to say early evidence is strong enough for the £448m three-year project to go further.
