The chief executive of the National Association for Voluntary and Community Action has presented the Local Government Association's ‘graph of doom' to members of the European Congress of Local and Regional Authorities.

Speaking to delegates the 24th session of the congress, Joe Irvin, said: ‘It traces how local authority expenditure in England is and Wales is expected to be cut over the next 10 years.
