The new chair of the largest local enterprise partnership (LEP) outside of London has vowed to create the country's ‘most enterprising' economy.

John Spence was named as chair of the South East LEP on 12 October and will be responsible for leading joint local authority-business growth plans across Essex, Kent and East Sussex.
