Chairman of Hampshire and Isle of Wight LGA elected

The chairman of the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Local Government Association for the next year has been elected.

Cllr Seán Woodward, leader of Fareham BC, has been elected chairman of the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Local Government Association for the next year.

The association's members include organisations serving at least 1.8 million people in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight, including local authorities in the area, Hampshire Police Authority, Hampshire Fire and Rescue, and the New Forest National Park Authority.
