New chairman named for East of England LGA

A new chairman has been named for the East of England Local Government Association.

Cllr Tony Jackson has been named new chairman of the East of England Local Government Association. He was formally elected at the organisation's annual meeting held on 16 July.

Cllr Jackson will be supported by Cllr Marco Cereste, leader of Peterborough City Council, who was appointed as vice-chairman.
