The Local Government Challenge is back for its seventh year, as 10 aspiring future chief executives once again face tough real-life challenges in councils up and down the country.

Run by the Local Government Association (LGA), the LG Challenge seeks to identify local government's top talent, promote best practice and highlight the breadth and variety of the challenges for top executives in local government.
