Charities are struggling to maintain service standards, due to pressure from spending cuts and increased demand, according to the National Council for Voluntary Organisations

The Charity Forecast Survey, published by the NCVO, shows 59% of charity leaders felt their organisation's financial situation had worsened over the last 12 months, and some 53% said they expected the situation to deteriorate further over the next year.
