Charities issue warning over vulnerable children

The number of children living in vulnerable families could exceed one million by 2015 unless the Government takes urgent action, according to a leading group of charities.

The number of children living in vulnerable families could exceed one million by 2015 unless the Government takes urgent action, according to a leading group of charities.

A report published last week by Action for Children, the NSPCC and the Children's Society predicts that ‘vulnerable families' could be £3,000 a year worse off by 2015, as a result of public spending cuts.
