One in ten charities 'at risk', experts warn

According to a survey published today, one tenth of the top charities in England and Wales are at risk of closure over the next year.

One tenth of the top charities in England and Wales are at risk of closure over the next year, while around two-thirds are cutting frontline services, according to a survey published today.

Polling across more than 100 of the top 750 charities also showed 73% are making staff redundant as local councils cut their grants for the second year running.
