Charity urges PCC candidates to tackle child exploitation

Children’s charity, Barnardo’s has urged incoming Police and Crime Commissioners to make tackling child sexual exploitation a priority when they take office this November.

Children's charity, Barnardo's has urged incoming Police and Crime Commissioners to make tackling child sexual exploitation a priority when they take office this November.

The charity said local supporters of Barnardo's will alert PCC candidatesto a version of their ‘Cut them free' checklist' - reissued for police forces. Two thirds of local authorities support the scheme, according to the charity.
