Chasing £70m

Councils in Norfolk have joined forces to bid for almost £70m worth of government funding.

The Greater Norwich Development Partnership, comprising Norwich City Council, Broadland and South Norfolk DCs, and Norfolk CC, have bid for money to fund infrastructure and housing improvements.

‘We need to make it clear to the Government that it must cover the true costs of its growth agenda on our county and communities,' said Broadland DC leader, John Fuller.

‘This funding application is just the start.'
