Three members of Cheshire East Council's senior management team are being investigated,in connection with a failed waste station.

Three members of Cheshire East Council's senior management team are being investigated, it is believed in connection with a failed waste station, which cost taxpayers more than £800,000.

Public sector lawyer Malcolm Illey announced last week he had been appointed as a designated independent person (DIP) to investigate allegations of three unnamed officers at the local authority.
