Cheshire East Council is set to invest £1m in a new bioscience park as part of a joint venture with leading drug company AstraZeneca.

Cheshire East Council is set to invest £1m in a new bioscience park as part of a joint venture with leading drug company AstraZeneca.

The council's cabinet has approved a £1m repayable loan to help create the £20m BioScience Incubator centre at Alderley Park. The 5,000 square metre facility is expected to create at least 440 jobs.
