Chief economic adviser at the CIPD to leave

The chief economic adviser at the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development is to leave the Institute.

John Philpott, chief economic adviser at the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, has announced his intention to leave the Institute in the autumn.

Mr Philpott has a Doctorate from the University of Oxford and is visiting professor of economics at the University of Hertfordshire. He joined the Institute as chief economist in November 2000.
