Liverpool City Council’s Lib Dem group has pledged to call time on the role of chief executive should the party win the local election.

Liverpool City Council's Lib Dem group has pledged to call time on the role of chief executive should the party win the local election.

The manifesto pledge to delete the post of chief executive would save £1.5m annually, Liverpool's Lib Dems have calculated.
