Chief executive of Chichester DC announces retirement

John Marsland chief executive of Chichester DC has announced his retirement.

Following almost 40 years of working in local government, John Marsland, chief executive of Chichester DC, has announced his retirement.

He has worked at Chichester for 22 years and has led the organisation to become one of the top performing councils in the country. Recognised by the Audit Commission as 'Excellent', the council has continued to keep council tax contributions down, while offering high quality services.
