Communities secretary Eric Pickles has welcomed the appointment of a new chief executive for the Homes and Communities Agency.

Andy Rose has been appointed as chief executive and accounting officer for the HCA on a permanent basis. Currently a partner at AgFe, a specialist European debt advisor and asset manager, Mr Rose has a commercial and financial background and over 20 years' experience in both the public and private sectors, with a particular focus on infrastructure finance.
