New chief executive at NSPCC

Children's charity, the NSPCC, has announced that Peter Wanless is to become its new chief executive officer from June this year.

Children's charity, the NSPCC, has announced that Peter Wanless is to become its new chief executive officer from June this year.

Mr Wanless, who was most recently the chief executive officer of the Big Lottery Fund, has also held previous senior positions at the Department for Children, Schools and Families – now the Department for Education – and the Treasury.
