Chief Executive

Here at Solihull MBC our focus is not on the services that are delivered, but on the lives that we can make a difference to.

Here at Solihull MBC our focus is not on the services that are delivered, but on the lives that we can make a difference to.

It's this commitment to our customer that forms the bedrock of our culture, and affirms our commitment to creating a consistent set of standards and expectations throughout the Council.

Our new Chief Executive will ensure that we continue to achieve positive outcomes tailored to what our communities need most; and that lives, not services are our business.

You'll discover a council that has a clear sense of purpose and direction and a readiness to embrace change.

You'll offer the leadership and strategic direction that will drive our improvement agenda, working closely with elected Members and an evergrowing cohort of partner organisations to realise our shared vision for Solihull. Delivering managed growth through UK Central will be a priority, but you will also be a confident ambassador for the wider health and wellbeing of our population.

You should be an approachable and accountable leader, ready to evaluate and adapt to new ways of working and delivery models. Most importantly, you’ll share our ambitions for Solihull and be ready to commit yourself with passion and enthusiasm to achieving them.

Visit www.solihullcx.co.uk or contact Steve Guest at SOLACE Enterprises on 0845 601 0649 for a confidential discussion.

Closing date: 4 March.
