Chief Executive

Employer: Adur & Worthing councils

Employer: Adur Worthing councils

Salary: £100k

Closing date: 8th March

Having worked together since 2008, Adur and Worthing Councils have already shown our capacity to adapt and embrace new ways of working. Our partnership has enabled us to consolidate our services and maintain high standards in exacting times. Now we're keen to take things to the next level.

Our new Chief Executive will build on our achievements to date, facilitating even closer working between the two authorities and realising opportunities to streamline and enhance services further.

Community focus will be intrinsic to our agenda and it's important that you really understand how councils can work with customers and partners to identify priorities and shape newdeliverymodels.

You'll promote a can-do culture, encourage and nurture innovation, and be able to apply sound commercial principles to all we undertake. Working across both councils you can expect your management skills to be tested to the full and your ability to manage conflicting priorities will be key.

Visit Adur & Worthing website to find out more or contact Terry McDougall at SOLACE Enterprises on 0845 601 0649. Closing date: 8 March.
