Rochdale MBC's chief executive Roger Ellis officially stepped down from his post last week – paving the way for a new chief, Jim Taylor, to take the helm.

Mr Ellis had led Rochdale's management team for 12 years, and was one of the longest-serving senior managers in the sector.
