Kensington & Chelsea LBC's chief executive has called on the Government to agree with councils on how much should be paid to private landlords.

With councils facing huge pressure on housing funds due to the need to house asylum seekers, Maxime Holdsworth called for transparency between central and local government on how much each was paying for accommodation.
