Chief waits to hear his fate

The fate of Carmarthenshire CC chief executive Mark James, who has applied for voluntary redundancy, looks set to be decided next month.

The fate of Carmarthenshire CC chief executive Mark James, who has applied for voluntary redundancy, looks set to be decided next month.

A spokesman for the council said Mr James' application for severance will be decided at next month's full council meeting, which is due to take place on 12 November.
