The Welfare Reform Act 2012 has introduced the biggest changes to state welfare in the history of its existence. There has been much political debate and on-going analysis of the coalition government's reforms, but much remains to be said about the cumulative impacts of these reforms on children.
With this in mind, Advice Nottingham have produced a report to evaluate how welfare reform is affecting children in Nottingham. We present evidential conclusions – derived using information from our clients, local schools, and key commentators in the area of social policy and children's rights.
