Health and social care integration will need more money to stop the short-term financial position of services from being undermined, public finance experts have said.
The Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA) called on the Government to recognise that combining two ‘financially challenged systems' will need additional funding or changes to the regime for charging.
