CIPFA sets out five principles to fix SEND failures

The Government has the chance to turn round a failing SEND system by applying five principles for reform, says a new report from the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA).

The Government has the chance to turn round a failing SEND system by applying five principles for reform, says a new report from the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA).

The report's recommendations include rebalancing spending towards early identification and intervention using a standardised outcomes framework and co-ordinating financial resources between education, health, public health and care partners.
