CIPFA's new president appointed Consultative Committee of Accountancy Bodies new chair

CIPFA new president and director of finance and resources for Staffordshire CC has been named as the chair of the Consultative Committee of Accountancy Bodies.

The Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA)'s new president and director of finance and resources for Staffordshire CC has been named as the chair of the Consultative Committee of Accountancy Bodies (CCAB).

Andrew Burns has been appointed to the new role. He said: ‘The CCAB plays a crucial role in ensuring that the accountancy profession shows the leadership and provides the support to face these challenges. I am both excited and honoured to be taking the chair as the profession prepares for the brave new world after Brexit.'The Centre for Public Scrutiny (CfPS) has appointed two new trustees.
