Greg Clark's new role as minister for cities has taken on an urgency as latest GDP figures show UK cities are struggling.

Speaking to The MJ earlier this week, Mr Clark said the new role, alongside his existing role as decentralisation minister, would allow him to represent cities across departments to break down the silos of central government.
