Cities go wireless

BT has completed the first phase of its Wireless Cities programme, with 12 broadband networks running across the country.
The networks provide wireless broadband networks, which local authorities can use to develop mobile services for residents.
‘Several local authorities are already showing they can improve productivity for their mobile workers,' said BT's chief and mobility and convergance, Steve Andrews.
