Ministers have announced new plans to give the Citizen Advice group a key role in protecting shoppers from rogue traders.

The Department for Business, Innovation and Skills has published proposals for the network of independent charities to take on responsibilities from the Office for Fair Trading and Consumer Focus, including protecting consumers' interests in unregulated sectors.
