Business process giant Civica has acquired software consultancy Asidua – a firm renowned for its expertise in local government contact management and data integration.

Asidua, which is headquartered in Belfast with offices in Birmingham and Dublin, employs 130 staff serving government and corporate clients in the UK, Republic of Ireland, the USA and the Far East.

Civica chief executive Simon Downing said the acquisition of Asidua brought market-leading expertise and broadened his company's support offer to customers.
