Clarity about the definition of the Big Society needs to be made, according to a report by the commission looking into the policy.

According to the report by the Commission for the Big Society, set up by ACEVO – the body that represents voluntary sector charities - nearly 80% of adults do not have a clear idea of what the policy is. More alarmingly 30% of voluntary sector CEOs are also unclear.
