The president of the Association of Directors of Adult Social Services has called for more clarity over the joint commissioning of health and care services.

Peter Hay said the question of how and what councils and NHS trusts would jointly commission in the future ‘is going unanswered', and he called on the Government to ‘raise the level of debate'.
