Major changes are underway in the way local authorities and schools commission and provide support services, says Elaine Simpson.

With the Education Bill in Lords Committee at the time of writing, this seems a highly appropriate time to consider the practical implications of changes in the way schools in England will be securing the support services they require in the future.
