Clegg firms up stance on Health Bill

The possibility of major changes to NHS reform has taken a step-forward with deputy prime minister Nick Clegg taking taking a firmer stance.

The possibility of significant change to NHS reform has taken a step-forward with deputy prime minister Nick Clegg taking a firmer stance on the passage of the Health and Social Care Bill.

Mr Clegg has said the package of reforms, which includes plans to create new GP commissioning consortia, should be an evolutionary change and not a disruptive revolution.
