As climate change is discussed on the global stage, Cllr Simon Tagg looks at how Staffordshire CC is encouraging change locally.

Since declaring a climate emergency in 2019, Staffordshire CC's carbon emissions have fallen by 43% as the authority pursues its goal of being net zero by 2050. And we've begun working formally with Staffordshire's eight borough and district authorities to develop and deliver joint carbon reduction initiatives uniformly across the county.
