Sir Michael Peat, chief aide to Prince Charles, has called for finance professionals to take a lead on global warming.

Speaking to CIPFA, Sir Michael encouraged accountants to see the global problem as an opportunity rather than a threat. ‘These problems need to be addressed globally but there is not yet a global organisation to deal with climate change,' he said.
