Combined authority chief executive role to be split

It is believed the scope of the chief executive role at Tees Valley Combined Authority (TVCA) will reduce from April, with current incumbent Julie Gilhespie stepping down.

It is believed the scope of the chief executive role at Tees Valley Combined Authority (TVCA) will reduce from April, with current incumbent Julie Gilhespie stepping down.

In the wake of the Tees Valley Review and Gilhespie's decision to retire, work is underway to break up the role, which currently leads both the CA and the South Tees Development Corporation (STDC).
