Commission for finance launched

The Welsh Local Government Association (WLGA) has urged its members to ‘engage positively’ with a new independent commission on council finance.

The Welsh Local Government Association (WLGA) has urged its members to ‘engage positively' with a new independent commission on council finance.

The commission was launched by the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA) last week and will examine the current finance system in Wales.
