Commission launches 'expert' partnership

The Care Quality Commission has launched a new partnership scheme, called ‘Acting together’, to involve people who use the watchdog’s services.

The Care Quality Commission has launched a new partnership scheme, called ‘Acting together', to involve people who use the watchdog's services.

Under the new scheme, partners will act as ‘experts by experience' on health and social care inspections and visits to monitor the use of the Mental Health Act. The first three partners for the scheme are Age UK, Challenging Behaviour Foundation and Choice Support.
