Children's commissioner Anne Longfield has pledged to use her tenure to promote ‘ambitious and positive change' for all youngsters.

Launching Ambitious for Children, the commissioner's commitments to the nation's young people over the next five years, Ms Longfield said England ‘rarely had the confidence to step in to shape the society we want our children to grow up in'.
