Aberdeen City Council has agreed to create a local authority-owned trading company to deliver social work services for older people.

Aberdeen City Council has agreed to create a local authority-owned trading company to deliver social work services for older people.

Officers are now drawing up a detailed business case for the company, which will be wholly owned by the authority and deliver services at the council's care homes, day centres and occupational therapy centres, as well as care-at-home services.
