Complaints against care providers have risen by 'more than 100%'

The number of complaints regarding adult social care providers has risen by more than 100% in the last five years, according to LGO.

The number of complaints regarding adult social care providers has risen by more than 100% in the last five years, according to statistics from the Local Government Ombudsman.

In a report published today, the Local Government Ombudsman revealed that complaints about adult social care are its fastest growing area and have risen by 130% since the watchdog took over responsibility for registered private care providers in 2009.
