'Confusion' behind Welsh care failures

According to the WRVS, older people in Wales are missing out on vital care because of local authorities and health boards confusion.

Older people in Wales are missing out on vital care because local authorities and health boards are confused about the re-ablement services they should provide, according to the Women's Royal Voluntary Service (WRVS).

A WRVS study, published on 15 August, claims councils and health organisations tend to concentrate on providing services which focus on physical wellbeing, and ignore emotional and social wellbeing.
